aperCURE

It feels so good to be back and posting again. (:
Last night, I was able to attend the benefit concert for Mang Danny and took loads of pictures. :D Gotta love concert photography, what with all the lights and smoke effects and the MUSIC, God, the MUSIC!

I'm not exactly familiar with the first band, nor did I really hear who they were (the sounds kind of bounced off the walls a lot - not the best place for a concert but hey, we're not the college of music or anything. XD) but they were a great starting band. Their music was awesome!

Kaera played that night as well. :D It was my first time seeing Jonji up on stage, and I never knew he could play bass so well. XD

I noticed that Jonji was very photogenic when given an instrument. AJ and Johann were just so funny. XD AJ didn't know the song, and Johann run up the stage and played AJ's guitar...while it was strapped on AJ. LOL thin people like me & AJ! XD Also, Fritz was there! XD

Good Morning High Five was one of my favorites that night. The vocalist was just adorable, and their music is the kind I would most definitely listen to. Also, WHAT ABOUT THAT PEDAL BOARD.

The following band (which I have again failed to hear the name) was pretty interesting, the vocalist to be exact. He had a thing for throwing around the microphone while singing. XD

Of course, how can I forget
Giniling Festival? They're fun to listen to, really. And having Bombee on guitars just adds to all the fun just watching them. XD

And the man of the night,
MANG DANNY! With his awesome headless bass, he still kicks ass!

Mania Kiss is like the FA faculty band of sorts, and watching them is always great. Last night, they had Romeo Lee sing a few songs for them and it was fantastic, the man was going wild on stage! What a night, what a night.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay for long because my vision started failing me as the night progressed, and I had to drive home. Afraid of getting into any road accidents, I crawled into my car and made my way home. I feel bad not being able to stay to watch Ralph's band and the other "big time" bands play, but there's always next time!
