just making up for lost time

I brought my camera out with me today, partly to try out my new lens hood, but mostly just to get back to taking photos.

I noticed they did a really bad job of covering up the vandalisms (if that was what they were trying to do) in the girls' bathroom in FA. Not only did it not stop the vandalisms, but of all the colors they could have chosen, why green? It was all just really puzzling.

I saw Andy in school today and I called out his name from the corridor. At first I thought he was deliberately ignoring me, because I think he looked and then just ignored me. By the time he walked by, his eyes lit up when he saw Nadz & I sitting there on the ledge. Apparently, he was listening to his iPod - which had a very funny engraving at the back.

Andy was wondering about my lens hood, and I tried showing him what it did. I took some photos of the cat that jumped up onto the ledge next to our stuff. The poor thing had lots of wounds and scars on it because it got caught up in a fight with one of the other cats a few months ago.

After school, I went to Kiks' house to get some stuff he got for me. The sun was beautiful after the rain that afternoon in front of his house.

He actually bought me some snacks that I really liked (one of which I immediately ate). Along with them, he also lent me his old iPod that he uploaded some songs for me to listen to. Mix tape of the future!

I listened to the songs on my way home, and they were perfect -

for night driving in the rain. Especially tonight when I had my lens hood with me. This, however, resulted in me driving like a madwoman, holding my camera up partially blocking my view of the road. But luckily I didn't crash and die!

I had a wonderful day today, especially with the cool, damp weather. Tomorrow, Transformers!
