So today, I brought my camera because I felt like taking pictures.
I also felt like capturing that golden sunlight along the Academic Oval in school which I have grown fond of for the past few years every time I drive down that road for my 7 AM class.

The capture was a success, and a delightful one at that! The colors were absolutely lovely and I can't even begin to understand how I was able to get such results. Until I remembered my settings. In Fine Arts, I took pictures of random people. I decided to take the photos in black & white, because I find there's a slight elegance in it, a hint of timelessness that sometimes color just can't capture.
Lara is my batchmate's sister, and she's just like her! She greatly reminds me of my high school and the things I encountered back then for some reason. I don't mind at all.
Jonji. He started calling me fire when I dyed my hair red, cause he said "Ice" wasn't appropriate anymore. Corny as it was, it's still pretty amusing.
John came to visit FA today, he took a leave from work. It's awesome how he takes time off from work to just hang out at his old school with his friends who are still there and do nothing of much productivity. Spent my afternoon in the hallway with him, Nico, Dan, and a bunch freshies I believe, whom I'm guessing some are IRIS apps.
Random girl in the hallway with us, who was talking to Nico.* * *
When I got home and Kiks had already left, I had my camera out partly because I had attempted to snap a few photos of the droplets on his car's roof. I failed miserably. Anyway, I went around the outside of our house and looked at the plants. Mom loves her plants, so she has all sorts of pretty flowers and stuff.

My first encounter, however, was not any of mom's plants. It was actually a weed growing out from the asphalt, right where the road and the gutter meet. I sat on the road in front of it, staring at it with wonder. It was a pretty sight! I took a lot of photos, mostly because focusing proved to be really difficult. But I eventually got some shots that I was pleased with. The colors are lovely, too! I was saddened, though, that when I turned my back on it to take pictures of other plants, our house help pulled it out. ):
These purple leaves always amaze me. I wonder why they're purple, but I'm sure there's something with the pigments. DUH. But yeah, I can't help but spend a bit of my time just looking at these purple plants.
On the steps to our front gate, there were these things that fell and dried up from the tree hanging over it. It was interesting to look at, so I tried a couple of different angles. The purple leaves were a nice touch, in my opinion. (:
These were those things that fell onto the step. They don't look like leaves, cause they're kind of fat.Nothing beats a good old silhouette. (:

I'm pretty sure these aren't all that uncommon, but it was just my first time seeing it, I think. These were over at my neighbor's front "yard" already, since I ran out of plants to take pictures of at our place, and there was still a bit more sunlight enough for a few more pictures.
I wanted to try and capture some reflections in puddles, but it was pretty hard when there aren't anything reflected in them besides electrical wires.
Inside just by our garage, I noticed that the droplets on the papaya leaves seemed to look a bit more like crystals. I tried taking a picture of exactly what I saw - the crystal-likeness of the droplets - but it was hard with very little light left in the sky.Anyway, I believe I had a good fill for photography. I haven't really taken any good shots in a while which makes me kind of insecure. I feel like I'm getting bad at it, though I wish I weren't. At least I've proven to myself I'm not completely hopeless.
What a lovely day~
