rockets

Today, Kiks took me out on a date. (: Along with us was sir Ali! It was fun having him with us. :D

We were supposed to eat at Teriyaki Boy in Katipunan, but lo and behold, there was no
parking. Decided to go to Banapple further along Katipunan. We were able to park but this time there were no seats available. D:

We ended up in Eastwood, and we decided to try out Johnny Rockets.

I loved the place! It was, to be blunt, your typical 50s American diner - except the food was much more expensive.

It was everything you'd imagine a diner would look like! The black and white checkered floor, the shiny red cushioned seats, the simple 50s style tables - they even had a jukebox that played old songs! I absolutely adored the place. XD If I could, I'd do a shoot there! Hee~

Also, to spice things up, the staff would have a dance number every so and so minutes, maybe every half an hour. It was amusing; even the janitor was dancing along while mopping the floor! It was all so cute. The chefs joined in too while they cooked the food, haha! It's probably something to distract you while maybe waiting for your food or something but hey, it was fun. (: My favorite
was the janitor, though. XD

The food was okay - I had chicken tenders, which weren't bad! I mean, for chicken tenders. XD I wasn't able to finish them though - appetite of a bird. The servings were pretty big for somebody who eats like me, haha. Next time, I order kids meals. Grilled cheese sandwiches! I think about the best part about their menu is that they had refillable fries. Yes, you read right. They give you fries when you run out and want some more. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

Anyway, after a fantastic, albeit expensive lunch, the three of us made our way to Dairy Queen for some dessert. Sir Ali didn't get anything as he was still really full from that burger he had. I had a 6oz Mud Pie Blizzard + extra caramel, and Kiks had his usual vanilla cone. :D

Went up to the hardware store + Japan Home Center. We absolutely LOVE JHC - everything's at 66, 88 and 99 Pesos. I actually love and hate the place at the same time - every time I go there, I want to buy a ton of things
I don't really need.

However, I found something that I figured would be really useful - a little toolbox! It looked like a giant pink bar of soap. I got the idea to get one from Kiks - he uses a tool box somewhat like this to put all his things in to avoid all the clutter on his desk around his computer. And me being a natural slob, this would prove to be very useful. Kiks agreed. XD I actually planned on getting one a while back but never really found anything that suited me, or was even affordable. I got this cute little thing for less than a hundred bucks! Yaaaay~ Actually, Kiks ended up paying for it, even though I said I'd pay him back when I got back from the restroom. He insisted, and I couldn't make him change his mind. So, thank you, Kiks! ♥

Failed! Glare on Kiks' face! D:

After JHC, we dropped by the toy store. Kiks was standing by the window! It's really amusing how that statue of Ben10 was the same height as he was. And they had the same hairdo, too. XD Talked of sea monkeys with sir Ali! We now know what to get him for Christmas. XD

We then finally decided to go - we brought sir Ali back to Katipunan, and Kiks & I made our way to Megamall.

I bought some roses to decorate my house with for my birthday! But I was low on funds, so I only bought half a dozen, which was fine. XD

We walked around a bit more looking for toys and comics. XD Some lady violated Kiks' personal space by insisting on considering buy a condo - did we really look that much like a young married couple with no home of our own? LOL. The lady literally followed Kiks into a store with a pamphlet in her hand. Uhm, right. Thanks.

A last walk around, and we made our last stop at Muffins by Doris, which was an excuse to check out the yellow Camaro with black racing stripes a.k.a. Bumblebee. IT WAS SO PRETTY. IT'S SO EXPENSIVE. IT'S SO PRETTY. Future car, I SWEAR! Kiks, I will save up my money with you so we can get that car into our garage one day!

Actually, along the same road was another car shop with another Bumblebee Camaro. LOVE ALL OVER THE PLACE! 4.5M? Psssshhhh that's nothing. LOL.

No pictures of the lovely cars though, as I was too much in awe and semi-starstrucked-ness.

GLEEEE~

Today was lovely, thank you, Kiksy love. (:
